THE HISTORY OF TOMMY BOY SAUSAGE Tommy Boy Sausage, like me, began in an Italian family in a small town in Ohio. I grew up surrounded by family, food, and traditions. My favorite tradition is making my family's sausage recipe. Each November, my family gathers to celebrate what we call "Muffaletts". This a time for us to taste our homemade wine and make our own sausage. We share the sausage with our family and friends who use it to prepare many different holiday dishes. As I grew older, I thought it would be great to share my family's sausage recipe with everyone. In 2002, I started the Tommy Boy Sausage Company when I was living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I used my family's sausage recipe to create this unique tasting sausage. I began selling my sausage at farmers' markets throughout Las Vegas and Phoenix, Arizona. This soon led to selling sausage at car dealerships and music festivals. In the first four months, I sold over 10,000 sandwiches. Tommy Boy Sausage was proving to be as popular with the public as it was with family and friends. I also secured contracts as a third party vendor for Levy Restaurant Corporation, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and other Nascar events. Currently, Tommy Boy serves sausage at University of Las Vegas, Sam Boyd Stadium, Coast Casino Gaming Resorts, Professional Bull Riding Association (PBRA), and outdoor events in Las Vegas and Phoenix. In 2004, I returned to Ohio and expanded my business. I became the Food and Beverage Director at Wesbanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia. Arena fans can now enjoy Tommy Boy Sausages while watching their favorite sporting events. Tommy Boy Sausage has grown at an accelerated pace as our quality and name become known. We will continue to seek all avenues to market and reach new customers as well as continuing to serve all of our existing loyal customers. Now, you too can enjoy some of these great tasting, premium sausages by ordering directly from us. Tommy Boy Sausage is now available from my family to yours and the tradition continues.
